Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan who is also co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), a team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) twenty20 cricket tournament visited his team practicing at the nets in Kolkata.

He interacted candidly with the players as well as the skipper Sourav Ganguly and coaches Wasim Akram of Pakistan and Dave Whatmore, conducting the training sessions.

He also watched the practice session of the team and met the young players.

With the debate over coach John Buchanan’s  four-captain theory still on, Kolkata Knight Riders  will announce their skipper for Indian Premier League’s  second season on April 16.

Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan  said the captain of his team for the Twenty20  event’s second season in South Africa  will be named on April 16, two days before the tournament kicks-off.

Shah Rukh Khan apologised to Sunil Gavaskar for his criticism of the legendary cricketer a few days ago. Shah Rukh had hit back at Sunil Gavaskar after the cricketer questioned KKR coach John Buchanan’s credibility as a coach and his new experiments. SRK’s outbursts against Sunil Gavaskar had angered the cricket fans across the country, which finally forced him to apologise.
