After apparently signing Aamir Khan for his forthcoming film, Bombay Velvet, buzz is that Danny Boyle is now in the process of signing Shah Rukh Khan. It will be nothing short of a casting coup if Boyle manages to get the two superstars together.

It seems Danny can’t have enough of Mumbai city. Like Slumdog Millionaire, Bombay Velvet is also based on the city. It is a film based on real life incidents and Anurag Kashyap will direct it.

The new film is said to have three parts with a new comer playing the lead in the second part while Aamir Khan takes over in the third part. It is said that Danny is looking forward to sign Shahrukh for the lead role in the first part.

The filmmaker and actor are in advanced stages of discussion and if all goes well, SRK will soon sign on the dotted line.
