Shahrukh Khan to be the chief guest at IFFI-2007
Bollywood megastar Shahrukh Khan will be the Chief Guest at the inauguration of the 38th International Film Festival of India (IFFI-2007) at Goa on 23 November 2007.

The Director of DFF – Smt. Neelam Kapur – addressed a press conference today and discussed the 10 day Film Festival in Goa from 23 November to 3 December.
She said that the opening ceremony would be simple and elegant and keeping with international standards and announced that Shahrukh Khan will be the chief guest at the inauguration.
She added that the inaugural ceremony will be attended by P. R. Dasmunsi – Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairsand Digambar Kamat – Chief Minister of Goa besides several important film personalities.
The inaugural lamp will be lit with the assistance of Priyamani, a rising star of southern cinema.
The Director of the opening film Cristian Mungiu and the main actress, Anamaria Marinca are expected to be present at the inaugural ceremony.
