Shahrukh Khan’s Chak De India to be screened for men in khaki
Bollywood blockbuster “Chak De India” would be screened here execlusively to inspire men in Khaki.
A proposal along with a request to exempt the movie from entertainment tax has already been sent to the state government, Garhwal DIG Ashok Kumar said.
Kumar, who is himself much impressed by the movie, said the national character, dedication, discipline, motivation and good team work shown by the hockey players in the movie might work as inspiration for Uttarakhand police force.
He said once the proposal is sanctioned, the policemen would be shown the movie with help from the police welfare fund.
