SRK offers to finance Dulha Mil Gaya

Ever since Viveck Vaswani’s Dulha Mil Gaya was announced, there was a strong buzz that Shah Rukh Khan was only doing a cameo role in the film.

Says Viveck of the film, which also stars Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan, “I’ve finished shooting Shah Rukh’s entry scenes and a few others apart from a song.

There’s another great song that we’re filming with Shah Rukh, and he has altogether 18 scenes in the film.

There’s some 14 days of work left, which will happen on a Mumbai schedule and an international cruise liner in July. Shah Rukh is paired opposite Sushmita in the film. Do you still think he is doing a cameo after doing so much work?”

DMG is the first film to be shot here, so from food to transport, everything had to be set up only for it.

There have been storms, beaches have been washed away, a lot of luggage was lost but the people of Trinidad & Tobago has been very cooperative.

“Brian Lara is a legend. We’ve approached him to play a cameo in the film, but his representatives haven’t got back to us yet. If Mr Lara does agree to do the part, we’ll officially announce it.

I would also like to clarify that I haven’t signed Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu to play Shah Rukh’s parents.”

Viveck adds that his good friend, TV actor and producer Anuj Saxena is presenting the film while Viveck himself is producing it. “Both SRK and Anuj are 20-year-old relationships. DMG owes its existence to them.”
